These fests bring communities and individuals with like minds together.  Forthwith Festival is one of the most popular events in Winnipeg. The February, 2019 schedule was the 3rd edition of the event and featured several talented musicians & composers, visual artists, and entertainers. 

More About Forthwith Festival

Forthwith Festival is synonymous with the “festival of artists” - It is a new-age festival that celebrates innovation, skill and presentation that the performers bring with them. The first edition of the festival was organized in 2017 and the engineers of the event have never looked back since. The 3rd edition was held from February 1st to 3rd, 2019 featuring artists from various cultures and languages. Forthwith 2019 was accompanied by music across diverse genres like industrial techno, progressive house, ambient music and drone.

Some of the well-known artists of the lineups are Maria Chavez, Sage Thrashers, Hainbach, Lindsey Rewuski, Huren, and Uyarakq. Most of these artists have performed at the ‘hottest’ NYC, Toronto, Vancouver, and Chicago clubs.

The upcoming Forthwith Festival edition will feature a similarly attractive lineup and performance level.

Venues

The primary venue of the Forthwith Festival is Forth Cafe, located at 171 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg. However, some of the other venues are 90 Annabelle Street, Video Pool Media Arts Centre and Studio 393.

Cafe Forth is the main location for the festival that features live music artists, visual artists and is home to delicious food.

The Avocado Toast and Matcha Latte are the best delicacies that you can choose for the Forthwith Festival.

Forthwith Workshops

What makes the Forthwith Festival so special? The performing musicians and artists conduct dedicated workshops. You will learn to compose beats and electronic music. Also create musical devices that you have never heard about and even learn about the art of food presentation.

The 2019 Forthwith Festival edition featured various workshops. The notable ones include a bootcamp by Uyarakq, expert turntable lessons by Martin Tétreault, and a detailed workout where participants successfully built a ‘Signum.’

Subtrack is a techno music night that is part of the Forthwith Festival featuring some of the best performers. A visual arts show is part of the techno program. Have questions about your favorite music artist, genre or an unknown style? The performers are available for Q&A sessions!

You can get your day pass to the Festival on the door at Cafe Forth. On the other hand, a weekend pass includes access to Subtrack as well. Participating in workshops conducted by performers requires purchasing separate tickets.
